An act of disrespect to the animal/s harvested to make it.

After looking through several offerings from Amazon for a leather apron, I decided on this $100+ option with the hope that you get what you pay for. The apron I received was indeed made of animal epidermal tissue that was removed and then tanned, and therefore meets the minimal requirements necessary to be considered “leather”. This apron, while predominantly leather, contains an alarmingly high proportion of adhesive. Not surprising considering the number of overlapping layers laminated in a hodgepodge of pelts in a variety of shapes and skived thicknesses. With there combined patchwork one gets the impression of an entire marmot village harvested to provide the raw materials needed for this apron. This is then riveted to poorly trimmed, and fuzz covered lengths of leather that form the apron straps. This product receiving a rating above 4 stars is a Bermuda Triangle level mystery.

The apron is super nice buffalo leather! I got it for my husband to saddle clean in and he absolutely loves it! If it gets dirty, you can easily blow and wipe off the apron and it’s back to looking brand new.
We put our logo on there and it’s even cooler.
